摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the fuel consumption rate and reduce the shock at the time of clutch switching, regardless of the engine revolving speed, by selectively operating a supercharger, based on a comparison between the load threshold value, which is set in correspondence to the revolving speed, and the actually measured load value. CONSTITUTION:A revolving speed detecting means 4 detects the engine revolving speed, while a sueprcharger-operating-range-setting-means 5 sets the load threshold value, which varies in correspondence to the revolving speed detected. The load threshold value (a ratio of the intake-air flow to the revolving speed, or Q/NE) for the low revolving speed range is set at Q/NE=0.5(l/rev) that is larger than the threshold value for the high revolving speed range, or Q/NE =0.4(l/rev). A supercharger operating means 6 compares this threshold value with the actually measured load value, which is detected by a load detecting means 3, to drive or stop a supercharger 2.
