PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of peeling force by a method wherein gaseous fluid is blasted against the separation point of a film or sheet. CONSTITUTION:A jet emitted from an air knife 31 enters in a wedge-shaped space pinched by a film 6 and a cooling drum 5 and develops a pressure to generate a force so as to peel the film 6 off the cooling drum 5. Said peeling force acts as a force to reduce the movement of a separation point A when the separation point A tends to move downwards awing to the fluctuation of the peel force at the separation of the film 6 from the cooling drum 5, resulting in reducing the torsional vibration of the cooling drum 5 and consequently obtaining a film with good thickness accuracy or with improved accuracy in the thickness in the running direction of the film. In addition, the vortices of the jet give the film 6 minute vibration, resulting in reducing the fluctuation of the peel force. |
