A roller tube (1) encompasses, with its constriction (1a), a constriction ring (2a) of an outer part (2) of a roller base and rests on its stop edge (2b). The outer part (2) of the roller base has a curved base (2e) within the roller tube (1) for an internal bearing support ring supporting the bearing (3). This ring has an internal hexagon (4a) for a nut (5) which, together with the bearing support ring (4), is fixed by a screw (6) to a cheek (9). Between the head of the screw (6) and the cheek (9) lies a resilient ring (7), and a soft damping ring (8) is inserted into the roller tube (1) for noise attenuation. <IMAGE>
