The invention relates to a heat-insulating roofing for greenhouses and also for swimming pools, in the case of which use is made of covering webs consisting of textile material or plastic sheeting. The object of the invention is to configure a movable roofing such that it is possible both fully to cover over and to expose the area which is to be covered. Furthermore, the roofing is intended to exhibit a heat-insulating action during cold periods in order to save energy. This object is achieved in that, in accordance with Figs. 1 and 2, bearings 6, in which rollers 7 rotate, are fitted fixedly on rails 1. These make it possible for the rails to slide easily back and forth on the load-bearing cables 8. On the rails 1 there are arranged, on the top and bottom sides thereof or on the four longitudinal edges, rolled-over portions 2, 3, through which the covering webs 4, 5 are pushed, by means of their wire-filled hoses 9, and are consequently fastened between the rails 1. <IMAGE>
