<p>Abrasion-resistant sintered alloy which comprises a Cr-C-Fe base alloy containing dispersed therein 0.5 to 3 wt % of CaF2 and 5 to 20 wt % of hard alloy powder of 44 to 150 νm in size and 800 to 2,000 in average Vickers hardness. This alloy is produced by mixing a Cr-C-Fe base alloy powder containing 10 to 20 wt % of Cr and 0.8 to 1.5 wt % of C with 1.2 to 2.0 wt % of C powder, 0.5 to 3.0 wt % of calcium fluoride powder, and 5 to 20 wt % of hard alloy powder of 44 to 150 νm in size and 800 to 2,000 in Vickers hardness, molding the mixture into a given form, and sintering the molded mixture in a non-oxidative atmosphere at temperatures ranging from 1180 to 1260°C, and is useful as parts materials requiring both heat and abrasion resistance.</p> |
