发明名称 THERMALLY STABLE AMORPHOUS ALLOY HAVING HIGH MAGNETIC FLUX DENSITY
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the thermal stability of the titled alloy to heat treatment at a high temp. for a long time and to well maintain the soft magnetic characteristics by specifying the composition of a Co-(Nb,Ta)-(Hf,Zr) alloy. CONSTITUTION:This thermally stable amorphous alloy having high magnetic flux density is represented by the formula (where T is Nb and/or Ta, preferably Nb, T' is Hf or Hf and Zr, preferably Hf, X=84-92% by atom, Y+Z=8-16%, Z=3-7%, X+Y+Z=100% and T' includes >=2% Hf). The alloy has superior thermal stability and maintains satisfactory soft magnetic characteristics even after heat treatment at a high temp. for a long time, so the alloy is suitable for use as a material for a magnetic head and can improve the working yield of heads.
