PURPOSE:To prevent a response from being communicated after the destination equipment of communication interrupts the communication sequence because of time-out at the time of waiting for communication from a source equipment, by providing a timer and not performing the communication processing when the time expires. CONSTITUTION:When a microprogram start means 302 accepts a communication reception factor to start a communication processing microprogram, it is checked by a time-out detecting means 304 whether the time-out signal of a timer 2 is generated or not. If it is not generated, a microprogram start signal 33 is supplied to the timer 2 from a microprogram start display means 303, and the timer 2 is stopped and resets a communication reception factor flag 301-4, and the communication processing is performed and transmission data is transmitted by an inter-equipment communication means 1. When the waiting time is extended and the communication processing program is started, the timer 2 generates the time-out signal; and the trouble processing or the like is performed if the time-out signal is detected by the time-out detecting means 304. |
