Aligning and clamping system, by means of which workpieces can be aligned and clamped in measuring, machining and other machines in a simple and rapid way. This is achieved in that special aligning bolts are inserted in bores which are made at an exact spacing on plates, machine tables, etc, and these aligning bores can be clamped from above so that they are connected firmly to the plate, machine table, etc. The workpieces can then be laid against and onto these aligning and clamping bolts and can be clamped.
