An isolating or feed-through terminal for connection distributors having a plastic body (1) which is formed from two half shells (1a, 1b) and in which a first contact element (2) and a second contact element (3) are arranged. The first contact element (2) has a U-contact (2c) of U-shaped construction between whose two limbs a U-shaped insulation-piercing contact spring (5) is mounted (2b), each of whose limbs has a longitudinally running slot (5b) with an opening (5c). A slide (6) which projects out of the plastic body (1) and has a lateral hole (6b) in the region of the insulation-piercing spring openings (5) encloses the two limbs of the insulation-piercing contact spring (5) and can be displaced along it. The second contact element (3) can be constructed in the same way as the first contact element (2) and can be arranged in mirror-image symmetry with respect thereto. Both contact elements (2 and 3) can be connected to an isolating blade (4). The second contact element (3) can be constructed as a U-shaped contact clip (3b) with a socket spring (8) arranged (3c) inbetween, in which socket spring a plug pin (9) of a connecting plug (13) is detachably arranged. A U-shaped spring clip (10) is mounted (9b) on the plug pin (9) in the connecting plug (13) and its two limbs each have at least one insulation-piercing contact (10a) in the form of a slot.
