PURPOSE:To surely and easily bring a welding torch to a prescribed position by permitting the free movement of a torch moving base as the screwing of a screw shaft and half nut is released when a turning member is turned. CONSTITUTION:The screwing of the screw shaft 34 and the half nut 39 is released when the turning member 38 is turned by a lever 40 against the force of a spring 54. The torch moving base 35 can, therefore, be freely moved by the lever 40. The turning member 38 is turned by the spring 54 and the screw 34 is screwed to the half nut 39 when the hand is detached from the lever 40 in this state.
