PURPOSE:To ensure follow-up properties of a seal surface through allowance of radial resilient deformation of the seal surface, by a method wherein a seal pressure regulating part is mounted to the part on the outer diameter side of the seal surface in a resilient member. CONSTITUTION:A seal pressure regulating part 12 allows radial resilient deformation of a seal surface 3, and serves to provide properties of following-up the outer peripheral surface of a rotary shaft, which is needed as function of a sealing device, the seal pressure regulating part being formed in a radially- extended waveform in cross section. An end part 12a on the outer diameter side of a regulating part is coupled to an outer diameter part 10, an end part 12b on the inner diameter side is coupled to an inner diameter part 11, and the whole in an annular recessed part 9 of a core member 1. In this case, a fastening force on a rotary part by the seal surface 3 is set to a proper pressure. |
