THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITIONS

A thermoplastic elastomer composition obtainable by blending together and partially curing an acrylate rubber and a polyolefin resin in a weight ratio of acrylate rubber to polyolefin of from 95:5 to 50:50. The compositions may be filled in particular with aluminum trihydrate to provide thermoplastic elastomer compositions having low smoke and flame retardant properties. Such compositions are suitable for use as jacketing for cables.
