PURPOSE:To make the surface layer of a photographic sensitive material nonadhesive and hardly scratchable even at high temp. and humidity by incorporating a compound having specified repeating units into at least one of the constituent layers of the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A compound having repeating units represented by the formula (where Rf is 2-5C perfluoroalkylene and n is an integer of 5-200) is incorporated into at least one of the constituent layers of a photographic sensitive material. The compound is incorporated into an emulsion layer, an undercoat layer, an intermediate layer, a protective surface layer, an overcoat layer, a back layer or other layer, preferably the outermost layer such as the protective surface layer, the overcoat layer or the back layer. The amount of the compound used is 0.001-0.2g per 1m<2> photographic sensitive material, preferably 0.001-0.08g. A hydrophilic colloidal binder forming the outermost layer is gelatin, a deriv. thereof or the like, preferably gelatin. Thus, satisfactory adhesion and scratch resistances and fogging characteristics are obtd. |
