PURPOSE:To provide a solar-heat utilizing water heater which is so designed that a finned heat pipe can be inserted afterwards and the sealing performance can be improved. CONSTITUTION:When a heat receiving portion 2 of a heat pipe P is heated by the solar heat, coolant in the heat pipe P is vaporized and carried upward to a heat releasing portion 3 in a heat accumulating tank 1. After releasing heat to water in the tank 1, the coolant is condensed and carried back to the heat receiving portion 2. In connecting the heat pipe P to a connecting port 1a, a split rubber 7 is fitted around the heat pipe P having a fixed collar 9, and then the pipe P is inserted into the heat accumulating tank 1 through a reinforcing collar 8 which is press fitted into the connecting port 1a. After positioning the pipe P correctly with a rubber pipe 10 fitted therearound, the heat pipe P is clamped by tightening bands 11, 11'. |
