<p>An add-on/detachable electronic/mechanical motorwinder arranged for use with a camera having a manually operable winding mechanism and shutter release, the winder comprising a generally rectangular body for example an anatomical I or L-shaped handle grip (10) which is adapted to be connected to the camera surface via the winding mechanism and adjacent strap-lug, so that the body is fully flushed with the camera surface, and to be held by the operator for stably supporting the camera in use. The generally rectangular body houses a simple, efficient drive assembly for enabling the winding of film, an electromechanically operable actuator arranged to operate the camera manual shutter release mechanism a battery compartment, electric/electronic circuitry for controlling operation of the winder, and a manually operable control button (14) for operating the drive assembly and actuator. The winder is particularly designed for use with manually operable cameras of the 6 x 6 medium format type. such as the Hasselblad 500c and 500c/m type.</p> |
