PURPOSE:To prevent an error operation, by transferring a tilt handle to the tilt-up position only in case of satisfying three conditions, the removal of a seat belt, the OFF of an ignition key, and the stop of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:When the driver removes the seat belt, the seat belt switch off signal 41 is delivered to a logic circuit 50. Then the ignition key off signal 42 is delivered to the logic circuit 50. And, in this case, when a halt condition confirming means detects a halt condition where the car speed is zero, a halt condition signal 43 is fed to the logic circuit 50. Only when the seat belt switch off signal, the ignition key off signal, and the halt condition signal are all input to the logic circuit 50 at a time, the tilt-up signal is fed to a tilt-up control (steering lift a position) 51 in a microcomputer. |
