A device for removing concrete runnings or the like from building elements B comprises a pipe 2 which is held by an operator A and at one end of which there is a vibrating tool 10, while at the other end there is a line leading to a pressurized fluid source 6 driving the tool. The pipe is provided with means 14 - 16 for connection to a harness, belt or the like S worn by the operator A for taking up pressure forces originating from the pressure of the tool against the building element B and acting in the longitudinal direction of the pipe.
