<p>Compounds of the general formula I <CHEM> wherein R<1> represents an optionally substituted C6-10 aryl group, or R<1> represents an optionally substituted 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic moiety; X represents a single bond, -CH2-, -OCH2-, -SCH2-, -S(O)-CH2, -S(O)2-CH2- or -CH2-CH2-; R<2> represents hydrogen or C1-3 alkyl; R<3> represents various optionally substituted aliphatic, araliphatic, aryl and heterocyclic moieties; and R<4> and R<5> which may be the same or different each represents a C3-5 alkenyl, C3-5 alkynyl, C1-6 alkyl or C4-7 cycloalkylalkyl group or together with the intervening nitrogen atom represent a 4-7-membered heterocyclic ring which may contain a further heteroatom and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof possess useful analgesic activity. Also disclosed are processes for their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions containing them.</p> |
