<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the shock and noise from occurring at the time of start by arranging two planetary gears and two ring gears rotatable by an amount corresponding to the backlash in parallel in the axial direction and providing springs applying initial loads in opposite directions to the ring gears. CONSTITUTION:Since ring gears 6, 7 are applied with initial loads in opposite directions during the rotation of a sun gear 3, directions to remove the backlash are also opposite. When the ring gear 6 is applied with an initial load in the direction from the surface to the back face and the ring gear 7 is applied with an initial load in the opposite direction and the sun gear 3 is rotated in the arrow 34 direction, a planetary gear 4 brought into pressure contact with its tooth face is rotated in the arrow 35 direction to transmit the rotating torque. A planetary gear 5 does not transmit the torque and is only rotated following the planetary gear 4. When the sun gear 3 is rotated in the opposite direction to the arrow 34 direction, the gear 5 alone transmits the torque, and the gear 4 is only rotated in pursuit. Tooth faces of the planetary gears and brought into pressure contact with the sun gear and ring gears, thereby the shock and noise caused by the backlash can be prevented from occurring.</p> |
