The vehicle comprises of a crane (55) which is mounted over the cab (54) area, and two pivotable sepd. arms (59,59') connected at their feee ends via a cross piece (63). This cross piece supports a gripper (64) which can pick up one or more pieces of timber located in front of the vehicle. Once the timber has been attached to the crane the arms can be pivoted so that the load is conveyed over the cab and deposited in the carrying compartment behind it. |
