PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a metal-resin composite by a method wherein an auxiliary mold, onto which a metal film is adhered in advance by metal spraying, and resin molding material are continuously fed in a die so as to form them into an integral body in the die and draw out of the die and, after that, the auxiliary mold is removed from the integral body. CONSTITUTION:When necessary, releasing treatment is applied to one face of an auxiliary mold, the surface of which is mirror-finished or finished in finely rugged state. Next, a metal film is adhered onto the whole or a part of the one face of said auxiliary mold by metal spraying. The auxiliary mold obtained in the manner as described above is continuously fed together with resin molding material in a die in such a manner that the metal-sprayed layer of the auxiliary mold contacts the resin molding material and, after that, heated in the die so as to form the metal-sprayed layer and the resin molding material into an integral body. In this case, when fiber reinforced termosetting resin molding material is empolyed as the resin molding material, the material is necessary to be formed and set during the passage of the material through the die. Or, when thermoplastic resin is empolyed as the resin molding material, the material is necessary to be heated in the die so as to be melted for forming. |
