Prodn. of the roof lining involves heaters (11,12) for the rubber strips and the fibre layer, a drive mechanism (16,17), and a press (14) for pressing the edge zones (9,10) of the heated joint strips against the rubber. The drive moves the press along a joint strip for this purpose. The press (14) has a number of rotatable, ring-shaped plates (21) on a shaft (19) which are radially movable for exerting an individual pressure on the joint strip. |
