PURPOSE:To secure the always superior wiping performance in all the wiping range of a window glass by assembling the eccentric mechanism which reduces the variation of the length of a tension spring when an arm retainer is turned vertically by the vertical movement of a wiper blade. CONSTITUTION:In a wiper blade moves vertically along the curved surface of a window glass when the wiper blade wipes the window glass, the opening angle A between an arm retainer 3 and an arm head 1 varies. For instance, when the arm retainer 3 turns downwardly around a turning pin 2 in the direction in which the angle A is reduced, the projection part 8 formed on the peripheral edge of the arm retainer 3 turns counterclockwise, and a cylindrical body 5 having a recessed part meshed with the projection part 8 is turned clockwise around a turning center 4. Therefore, the variation of the length of a tension spring 9 whose one edge is hooked onto a restraining pin 6 installed in eccentricity onto the cylindrical body 5 is substantially suppressed. |
