PURPOSE:To provide satisfactory blasting grains by freezing and solidifying into fine grains at least one kind of compound selected from groups of tetrachlorodifluoroethane, trichlorotrifluoroethane, octafluorocyclobutane, carbon tetrachloride, tetrachloroethylene, etc. CONSTITUTION:A grain raw material 1 is frozen and solidified into fine grains by a frozen grain manufacturing apparatus 2 to provide blasting grains which jet and collide with a workpiece 4 from a blasting gun 3a of a blasting device 3 for surface treatment. And the grain material 1 is at least a kind of compound selected from a group of tetrachlorodifluoroethane, trichlorotrifluoroethane, octafluorocyclobutane, carbon tetrachloride, tetrachloroethylene, 1,1,1- trichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane, 1,2 dichloroethane and glycerin. Thus, the grains are fused after blasting to be evapolated or sublimated and prevented from any troubles of deposition. Also, the frozen grains with high specific gravity can improve the blasting effect. |
