PURPOSE:To increase bonding force of an Al substrate and cycle life of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery by using a positive electrode and a negative electrode comprising Li-Al alloy which uses a molding body prepared by filling Al powder in a porous body as a substrate. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum powder or fiber is pressed in a lath of nickel to form a molding body which is used as a substrate. A Li-Al alloy is prepared using this substrate and used as a negative electrode. This negative electrode, a positive electrode containing titanium sulfide as active material, and nonaqueous electrolyte are combined to form a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. By this battery construction, strength of a substrate is increased and coming off of electrode is prevented. Current collecting efficiency and cycle life are also improved. |
