PURPOSE:To detect malfunction without providing a monitoring equipment, by providing a counter capable of subtracting one in the process of the execution of each program, and a means which sets a constant at the counter, and executing the initialization of a system over again when the counter is judged as zero. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 1 is equipped with the counter capable of subtracting one in the process of the execution of each program, and the means which sets the constant at the counter. On is subtracted from the set value TM of the counter, and the set value TM is set again on the counter. Next, it is judged whether the set value TM of the counter is zero or not, and when it is zero, the central processing unit 1, and the system are initialized, and when it is not zero, the processing of the program is executed. When a timer interruption processing ceases to generate, the setting of the constant which becomes (n) on the set value of the county ceases, and the set value TM of the counter goes to zero, then retart is applied, and the initialization of the system is performed by the program. Therefore, a cause to stop the generation of the timer interruption is eliminated, and the system enters into a normal operation. |
