PURPOSE:To prevent use of counterfeit CD card by keeping serial number of use in a customer record of a customer file in magnetic stripes of a CD card and a central computer, and renewing the number every time the CD card is used. CONSTITUTION:The same number is held in magnetic stripes of a CD card and in the file of a central computer. The numbers are compared, and when they coincide, both numbers are rewritten. That is, a serial number of use renewal module 5 subtracts amount of cash withdrawal inputted by an operator of a cash dispenser 1 from balance of deposit of customer record read out from a secret code number check module 3, and at the same time, adds '1' to the serial number of use in relevant customer record and in the magnetic stripes, and rewrites a customer file 2 and gives command to the cash dispenser 1 to discharge cash and to rewrite the magnetic stripes. In the case where copied and counterfeit CD card is used, the serial number of use becomes discordant as the serial number of use of another CD card is not renewed, and accordingly, cash is not discharged. |
