TEST PACK SELECTIVE SUPPLY APPARATUS OF BIOCHEMICAL ANALYZER

PURPOSE:To mechanize and automate not only the selection of a test cup and the loading the thereof onto a feed tray but also the selection and loading of a test pack corresponding to random analytical demands, with respect to a large number of specimens. CONSTITUTION:A test pack drawer 42 is drawn out from a main body apparatus to set a predetermined number and kind of test cup trays 21 and again inserted in the main body apparatus. Next, an xy scanning mechanism 46 is scanned and the bar code 23 of each test cup tray 21 in the test cup drawer 42 is read by a bar code sensor 48 and the position and kind of each test cup tray is stored in the internal memory of a sorter control apparatus 61. The upper part of each test cup tray 21 is scanned at a proper scanning interval and the presence of each test cup 11 in said tray 21 is confirmed to be also stored in the internal memory of the sorter control apparatus 6.
