The invention relates to a window or to a door with multiple glazing with heat-reflecting properties on one side, with a fixed frame and with a sash frame retaining the panes, in adaptation to the prevailing temperature gradients between the building interior and the exterior it being possible to arrange one side of the window, by turning it, such that it points alternately either to the outside or to the inside. Said window or door is characterised by an additional side hung or side/bottom hung sash as inner sash (6) which is arranged on the inner side on or in the frame (2), can pivot by at least 90 DEG about an axis (65') in the vicinity of the sash edge, carries at least one further pane (68) and engages in a sealing manner over the joints (27) between frame (2) and sash frame (3). <IMAGE>
