In order to improve the heat dissipation from equipment cabinets having push-in units which are arranged vertically one above the other, the heated exhaust air is fed back by combining the supply air into a large number of air jets and is mixed with the supply air, which flows out in the form of a jet, as a result of "entrainment" effects.
