The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for matching a S0 interface to a digital microprocessor-controlled telephone switching system, particularly a specialised telephone system, with a basic channel of 64 kBit/s provided for voice information transmission and a data channel of 2 kBit/s provided for signalling transmission, in which arrangement the basic channel can be connected to corresponding subscriber line assemblies via a central switching network by a central processor by means of control devices of a central data channel and the data channel, in conjunction with a group controller, can be controlled by a group processor. The digital subscriber line interface device (SLMD-So) is connected at the input end to the S0 interface via two basic channels (B) and a normalised data channel (D) and exhibits a converting and transmission rate adapter with which the normalised data channel (D) is brought up to the data transmission rate of a basic channel (B) and can be transmitted as a matching data channel (D') to the central switching network (SN). Such a circuit arrangement is used for matching the standard interface (S0) to digital telephone switching systems in specialised private networks. <IMAGE>
