The Main Application P 3620666.0 relates to a method for separating off dusts, moulds, viruses, germs, bacilli and gaseous and/or aerosol pollutants, in which an ozonisation section and an ionisation section are connected upstream of a chemisorption filter package. To improve the separation efficiency, according to the invention it is proposed that the individual chemisorption filter layers (3) are provided with electrostatically charged and/or chargeable separating filter cloths (2) between the individual chemisorption compositions (3) and/or a dielectric (4) separates the individual electrically conducting layers from each other so that a field build-up is possible between the electrically conducting layers, and/or the housing (5) of the chemisorption filter package (3) and/or the intermediate layers are electrically connected to a high voltage generator in such a manner that, in interaction with an ioniser acting on the opposite pole, they produce an improved agglomeration between the chemisorption filter layers with simultaneous upstream connection of a high voltage ozone generator. <IMAGE>
