The invention relates to a mount for a lens attachment (1) having at least two guide rails (3, 4) arranged parallel to the lens axis (2). In order to simplify the swivel-out locking of the attachment (1), the joint, which consists of an inner element (10), an outer element (14) and an intermediate joint element (13), has locking openings (15, 16) aligned towards the free ends (7, 8) of the guide rails (3, 4), which locking openings are automatically released when the attachment (1) is slid away from the lens (23), and upon sliding back are automatically locked. In order to simplify this sliding movement and to achieve defined sliding distances, a drive (17) is provided which essentially consists of an excentre (19) pivotably supported on a mounting frame (18), a pivoting element (22) connected to the attachment (1), and an actuating lever (21). When shifting the lever (21) through 180@ clockwise or counterclockwise, the attachment (1) is slid away from the lens (23) by a defined distance and the locking of the pivoting-out mechanism is simultaneously released, or, conversely, the attachment (1) is slid onto the lens (23). <IMAGE>
