METHOD FOR CARRYING ZIP TYPE IC

PURPOSE:To obtain a pertinent method for carrying ZIP type IC without changing the basic layout of equipments in the carriage route of thick IC by a method wherein the ZIP type IC is turned or swiveled to take specified attitude respectively at multiple specified positions in the carriage route. CONSTITUTION:The package sides of a ZIP type IC are slidden along the surface of run-in oblique chute rails 3a to be turned by 90 deg. making the lead projecting surface of ZIP type IC package oppose to the surface of chute rails 3a at the end of the rails 3a. Next, the IC 1 is swiveled around the horizontal axis making said lead projecting surface take an attitude perpendicular to the direction opposing to an IC socket and then dropped along the vertical chute rails 3b to turn said ZIP type IC 1 by 90 deg. around the vertical, the axis N at the end of the rails 3b. Finally, the IC 1 swiveled around the horizontal axis making the package 1 sides of said 90 deg. turned ZIP type IC 1 lie along the surface of run-out chute rails 3c.
