PURPOSE:To reliably secure a waterproofing sheet, by a method wherein the waterproofing sheet formed integrally with a reinforcing sheet is secured to a face of slope, and the lower edge of the waterproofing sheet is secured to the free upper edge of the underlaying waterproofing sheet. CONSTITUTION:At the lower part of a levee 10, a first waterproofing sheet 20 is disposed on a face of slope 11 so that a reinforcing sheet 30 secured integrally with the waterproofing sheet is positioned on the waterproofing sheet, and thereafter a pile 35 is inserted through a hole 34 formed in a securing member 33 disposed on the reinforcing sheet 30 to drive it into the levee 10. Thereafter, the second sheet 20 is disposed on the first sheet 20 in a condition in which an upper edge 21, being in a free condition, of the first sheet 20 is folded downward, and the lower edge of the second sheet 20 is superposed with the back of the upper edge 21 of the first sheet 20. Thereafter, after the reinforcing sheet 30 for the second sheet 30 is secured through the medium of the securing member 33 by means of the pile 35, the upper edge 21 of the first sheet 20 is welded by heat with the lower edge of the second sheet 20 in a condition in which the edges are superposed with each other. |
