PURPOSE:To reduce labor for machining electrical parts or the like in the case of household work by providing a work indexing rotary device which can be rotated without any power source only by changing a machining table and a pressing rod according to the type of the work to be machined. CONSTITUTION:A turntable 2 is mounted in the center of a turn base 1, and a work machining table 16 is mounted on the upper face of the turntable. J-shaped convex portions 4 are provided around the peripheral face of the turntable. When a work pressing rod 9 provided separately for the base 1 is pressed against the portion 3 to be machined a sliding rod 10 is lowered, sliding in the recess between the J-shaped convex portions 4 on the peripheral face of the turntable. A sliding nail 11 housed in the lower portion of the rod 10 by spring is withdrawn into the sliding rod 10 when pressed by the top protrusion of the J-shaped convex portions 4, and is protruded at the aded point of its lowering movement to make contact with right hand step B of the J-shaped convex portions 4. And as the sliding rod 10 moves upwards, the turntable 2 is rotated clockwise by one step to be ready to start machining the next work portion 3. |
