PURPOSE:To correct a phase shift caused in a reproduced component signal by changing a phase shift produced in the reproducing signal when each head moves on a scanning track so as to correct an address number of an address signal. CONSTITUTION:A phase shift of 1.5H's share is produced at each movement of head from one track group to the next track group by heads 1R-1G2. This phase shift is corrected by applying time correction through the switching operation of switching circuits 28B, 28G1 and 28G2 when each primary color signal is written from memories 21R-21G2 in a line address sequence control circuit 22. Then, the compensation is attained so as not to produce substantial color offset to a color signal S6 obtained from a decode circuit 13. Thus, the deterioration in the picture quality is compensated effectively. |
