The device is intended to clean dentures, spectacles or such like articles. It comprises a trough (1) that receives a liquid and is inserted in a housing (2). Ultrasonic transmitters (4) are fitted all round between the trough (1) and the housing (2). The denture or the like is introduced into the device or removed from it with the aid of a basket (5) inserted in the trough (1). The device is closed by a lid (6). <IMAGE>
