<p>PURPOSE:To reduce errors in detection originating from distance by selecting a necessary number of detecting means from among detecting means which are one more than a number required for coordinate determination and determining the coordinates of a contacting point of a vibrator pen on an elastic wave propagation body. CONSTITUTION:Detection signals 51-54 of elastic waves from a received waveform detecting circuit 5 to respective sensor positions 1 (S0-S3) are latched by the circuit 5 respectively from their rises to the start of a nest detection cycle. When three of the detection signals 51-54 are sent, a data set terminal 62 is turned on by AND circuits 55-58 and an OR circuit 59 and the signals are outputted to a port. When one or plural starting signals among the four signals are sent, they are latched by a latch circuit 61 with the output of an OR circuit 60 and outputted to the port successively as data. An arithmetic control block 6 monitors the port and detects the set and order of data from two data from a terminal 62 and the circuit 61 to speed up the operation.</p> |
