<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an irrational load from being exerted to a tape by moving a slide member so as to release momentarily the engagement between the idlers and reel disks, when stop motion is instructed while take-up/fast forwarding motion is advancing. CONSTITUTION:In instructing stopping from the fast feed/rewinding operation, the engagement between a notch projection 112 of the 2nd sub slider 101 and an engagement piece 113 of a 1st sub slider is released by a one-way clutch 117 and a 2nd sub slider 101 is moved momentarily in the right direction by a coil spring 104. Thus, a support shaft 150 is parted from the side ridge of the 1st sub slider 93, driven counter clockwise by the elastic force of the spring 149, the idler support plate 145 is moved in the direction of the ode slider 39, the engagement between the idler 144 and a gear disk 154 is released thereby releasing the fast forwarding/rewinding mode of reel drive momentarily. Thus, even if reel disks 16, 17 being driven at a high speed are stopped momentarily, the torque due to the moment of inertia of the capstan wheel is not delivered to the reel disks 16, 17 and no excess load is exerted onto the tape.</p> |
