PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time and to increase the freedom of an operator by outputting picture data, which is recorded in a line buffer in line units, in accordance with the read address of a line buffer address generating part and performing nXn spatial product operation between data a several picture elements distant from each other. CONSTITUTION:Three-line picture data stored in an input line buffer part 1 is outputted in accordance with the read address of a line buffer address generat ing part 2. Meanwhile, mask data is outputted from a mask memory 3 for spatial product sum operation, and the product between them is obtained by a multiplying part 4 consisting of three multipliers. The sum of operation result of two multipliers out of three multipliers is obtained by an adding part A5, and the sum of the result and the remainder operation result is obtained by an adding part B6. The similar operation is repeated three times in the multiply ing part 4, the adding part A5, and the adding part B6 because of 3X3 spatial product sum operation, and the total sum is obtained by an adding part C7, and the value larger than an allowable value and a negative value are subjected to data conversion by a loop up table part 8, and the operation result of one line is outputted from output line buffer part 9. |
