<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with a torque converter and enhance transmission efficiency, by controlling the clutch pressure of a clutch at the time of a start or a speed-change by means of an electric command in a clutch engagement. CONSTITUTION:The output from an engine 10 is transmitted to a tire 16 via a transmission 12 and a final reduction gear and differential gear 14. The revolv ing speed of the input/output shafts of this transmission 12 is detected by sensors 18 and 20, respectively, and a signal is output to a controller 30. The throttling quantity is detected by a throttle detector 24, while a carrying load is detected by a payload meter 25. Then, both values thus detected are output to the control ler 30. With regard to the position selected by a shift lever 26, a position signal is output to the controller 30 by a shift selector 28, thereby determining the speed-stage region for an automatic speed change. Based on the signal thus input, the transmission 12 is controlled via a clutch-oil-pressure supplying device 32 in such a manner that the shift lever goes into the optimum speed stage.</p> |
