Process and measurement device for flow monitoring in spraying devices

The flow monitoring of particularly small liquid throughputs in spraying devices (1) is possible by remote monitoring. Upstream of the spray head (3), a first temperature sensor (6) is arranged in the range of influence of the spray cone (5) of the spray head (3); in this arrangement the spray cone (5) consists of liquid droplets, liquid mist and/or liquid vapour. The temperature in the range of influence of the spray cone (5) is compared by means of a comparator device (9) with a reference temperature outside the range of influence of the spray cone and the temperature difference is displayed in an appropriate manner. The existence of a temperature difference indicates that the liquid is flowing through. <IMAGE>
