The plough body is used for ground-working. There is a known plough body with a pivotable system, in which there is a possibility of adjusting the lateral handle by different amounts. However, this solution has the disadvantage that, while the plough body is working, it is impossible to adapt it to changing states of the ground and therefore different working widths of the plough body occur, depending on the ground conditions. The aim of the invention is to achieve adaptation of the plough body to changing states of the ground during work and a reduction in the energy outlay. This gives rise to the object of providing an automatic adjusting device for the system. According to the invention, this object is achieved by means of a plough body, in which the system is fastened to the plough body pivotably by means of two joints. The joint located in the rear part of the system is supported variably in position relative to the plough body by means of an adjusting device and transversely to its working direction. The front joint is mounted in a guide movably between two end positions transversely to the working direction of the plough body and is held elastically against the inner end position of the guide by a spring arranged in the region of the front joint. <IMAGE>
