PURPOSE:To easily and lightly start the conveyance of granules and to improve the transportation of an electric field curtain by using a piezoelectric material for an electric curtain substrate or part of it. CONSTITUTION:A thin-plate stripped electrode group 1 is applied with respective phase outputs of a three-phase alternating voltage generating source 5 to generate progressive wave alternating unbalance electric field sequences in a piezoelectric layer 2 and on its surface, and granules 6 are conveyed as shown by an arrow A through the operation of the sequences. At this time, the piezoelectric layer 2 is provided, so the piezoelectric layer 2 vibrates through the operation of the alternating electric field at the same time to produce triggering operation at the time of the start of granules, which are conveyed smoothly. Further, the electric field curtain substrate consisting of a dielectric layer 3 and the piezoelectric layer 2 has flexibility, so it can be deformed in an optical shape and the electric field curtain substrate is stuck on the internal wall, etc., of the conveyance path of the granules to obtain the conveyance path in the optional shape.
