PURPOSE:To provide the titled image-forming liquid containing a hydroxyl- containing polymer, a polyvalent metal complex compound (salt) and an organic solvent as essential components, capable of forming a highly durable image on a printing plate for dry lithography and usable in ink-jet printing, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective image-forming liquid contains, an essential components, (A) a hydroxyl-containing polymer [e.g. a copolymer containing a hydroxyl-containing (meth)acrylate such as 2-hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate, etc., as a copolymerized component], (B) a complex compound of a >=2-valent metal (e.g. Al, Sn, Fe, Co, Mn, etc.) (e.g. aluminum acetylacetonate) and (C) an organic solvent (a solvent capable of dissolving the components A and B and inert to chemical reaction with the components at normal temperature, e.g. alcohol, ether, ketone, etc.). |
