PURPOSE:To provide a lubrication oil containing a specific amount of gelatin consisting of a specific derived protein, and effective in suppressing the emulsification and foaming liable to occur in a high-speed bearing, etc., and effectively preventing deterioration of viscosity. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubrication oil can be produced by compounding (A) 70-99(wt)% lubrication base oil composed of e.g. petroleum-based lubrication oil such as engine oil, turbine oil, gear oil, etc., a synthetic lubrication oil such as silicone, polyglycol, chlorinated biphenyl, etc., and animal or vegetable lubrication oil such as rapeseed oil, beef tallow, lard, etc., with (B) 1-30% gelatin consisting of a derived protein having a molecular weight of 20,000-150,000. |
