CONTROL UNIT FOR A THREE-PHASE AC MOTOR DRIVE SUPPLIED BY A FREQUENCY CONVERTER

The control unit (1) for a three phase, especially asynchronous, AC motor (3), which is supplied by a frequency convertor (2), is provided with a microprocessor. In the microprocessor there is stored a sequence program which takes into account a large number of possible drive configurations. In practice, the user then calls up those parts of the program externally which are required for the respective drive configuration. In this way, items of information which can be erased are input into an electrically erasable program read memory (26) in order thus to personify the universally designed control unit for the individual application.
