PURPOSE:To prevent edge effect and whitening on a black solid part by coating a carrier with a resin contg. a titanate type fine powder. CONSTITUTION:A carrier is coated with a resin contg. a titanate type fine powder, such as ferroelectric BaTiO3, in an amt. of 0.1-10pts. per 100pts.of the coated resin. Such a powder is well dispersible into a resin binder, it does not deteriorate strength of adhesion to a carrier of iron powder, enhances a dielectric constant of the carrier coating resin, and it can properly control the dielectric constant of the coated carrier. A good image free from both of whitening on a black solid part and edge effect can be obtained by using such a coated carrier and developing a latent image. |
