PURPOSE:To dissolve troublesome works, such as exchange of originals, etc., when copying operations are carried out by feeding copying paper manually, by correlating a carrying means, copying means, and manual paper feeding means which feeds manually fed copying paper to the copying means to each other. CONSTITUTION:When copying paper is inserted from a manually inserting port 32 and a sensor 34 detects the paper in the case of manual paper feeding, paper feeding rollers 33 for manual operation are rotated and send the copying paper into this copying machine and, simultaneously or a little later, a photosensitive drum 1 and scanning optical system 10 are started. The manually fed copying paper is once stopped and set to a waiting state at a carrying roller section 35 and, when the carrying rollers 35 are rotated by the output of a paper feeding signal, the copying paper is sent into the machine. Since the starting of the copying operation is controlled by the insertion of the copying paper in such a way, the copying operation of this copying device is simplified. |
